Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Wexford Flooding.

8.

asked the Minister for Local Government if he is aware of the flooding caused during the winter-time by the Brian Oge River at Courtown Harbour, Gorey, County Wexford; and if, in view of the fact that the county council have no money at their disposal to alleviate the flooding by deepening the river, he will make money available to them for this work.

I am not aware of flooding caused by the Brian Oge River at Courtown Harbour. There are no funds at my disposal for the financing of flood relief works on this river.
