Vol. 224 No. 11

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Financial Aid to Company.

41.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce what financial assistance by way of trade loan or otherwise was made to a company (name supplied); and how much, if any, of this money has been repaid.

No assistance by way of trade loan has been made to this company and I have no knowledge of any other repayable advances made to it. The second part of the question does not, therefore, arise.

I understand, however, that an adaptation grant, particulars of which will appear in the next annual report of An Foras Tionscal, has been given to the firm by that body and a Technical Assistance Grant of approximately £850 was made towards the cost of the employment of industrial consultants by the firm.
