Vol. 224 No. 14

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Tipperary River Pollution.

45.

asked the Minister for Agriculture and Fisheries if he is aware of the recurrence of the pollution of the River Arra, County Tipperary, resulting in the death of large numbers of fish; and if he will take steps to have the cause of this pollution investigated and removed.

I understand that the local authority concerned has engaged a consultant to advise them on the steps necessary to deal with this matter.

The remaining questions will appear on tomorrow's Order Paper.
