Vol. 225 No. 4

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Dublin Wholesale Market.

61.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if a private housewife, who buys apples in Dublin Corporation wholesale market at the wholesale minimum quantity, can be legally charged any arbitrary price in the same market.

I am informed that in Dublin Corporation wholesale market the same price for apples is quoted to housewives and other purchasers on any particular day and that reductions in prices may be given for larger quantities. The prices to be charged for apples in this market are not fixed by law.
