Compensation payable on foot of claims for malicious damage to property in respect of the first explosion at Nelson Pillar would fall to be met by Dublin Corporation. In regard to claims arising from the demolition of the Pillar by the Army Corps of Engineers, I would refer the Deputy to the reply of the Minister for Finance to Question No. 19 of the 22nd March, 1966.
