asked the Minister for Social Welfare if he will state sickness benefit for a beneficiary without dependants as a proportion of (i) the national average income per head and (ii) the current average wage.

The ordinary personal rate of disability benefit is 48.6 per cent of the national average income per head of the population. As regards (ii) no figure is available for the current average wage.
