Vol. 226 No. 4

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Pigs and Bacon Commission.

6.

asked the Minister for Agriculture and Fisheries when the Pigs and Bacon Commission was formed, the number of executives engaged, the number since resigned and the reasons therefor; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The Pigs and Bacon Commission was originally established on 1st January, 1940 and was reconstituted on 1st August, 1961.

I have no functions in relation to the appointment or the numbers of the Commission's staff. In organisations with commercial functions, like the Commission, staff changes are not uncommon.
