Vol. 226 No. 7

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Minister's Tour of Hospitals.

186.

asked the Minister for Health if he will give details of his tour of hospitals in Britain and the Continent; if he will comment on planning, construction and building; and what knowledge he has gained as a result of his study tour.

Accompanied by the three other members of the study group, I visited 13 hospitals in four countries during a period of nine days. The rest of the Deputy's question can be more suitably answered during Estimate discussions.

Does the Minister feel that he knows more now than he did before he went, that he has gained something?

Yes, I do. That was the object of my visits.
