(South Tipperary) asked the Minister for Health whether the freezing of the contribution from local rates for health purposes by his predecessor is still regarded as operative, in view of the recent notification to local authorities of a specific central revenue allocation for this purpose in the coming financial year.

I would draw the attention of the Deputy to my reply of 9th February to a similar question by Deputy Clinton (Dáil Debates, volume 226, columns 1147 to 1150).
