As it is not the practice to disclose information about the private affairs of industrial concerns, I am not prepared to supply the information sought in the first part of the question. The Deputy is, no doubt, aware that the EI Company have already made a public announcement in the matter. I am informed by the Shannon Free Airport Development Company that, in accordance with normal practice, they are in negotiation with other firms on the Estate with a view to placing in alternative employment as many as possible of the workers who have become redundant.
