Vol. 227 No. 2

Suspension of Member.

I move:

That Deputy Coughlan be suspended from the service of the House.

Question put and declared carried.

Will Deputy Coughlan please leave the Chamber?

I will go under protest to try to save the pig industry.

Deputy Coughlan withdrew from the Chamber.

Will you allow another supplementary, Sir? This is a very important matter.

I have called Question No. 5.

I think your ruling is unfair.

The Deputy never thought anything else.

On a point of order, that is a comment the Chair should not make. Deputy Murphy is entitled to his rights.

I am not depriving him of his rights.

That is a statement that should not have been made by the Chair.

I am thankful to the Deputy for teaching me good manners.
