Details of the activities of Bord Fáilte Éireann are contained in their annual reports which are published and laid before both Houses of the Oireachtas. I gave a detailed account of the major objectives in the tourism expansion programme at the Second Stage of the Tourist Traffic Bill which was enacted last year. I again reviewed the situation in October last when introducing the Estimate for my Department. Further details will be given in my speech on the Estimate for this year. Bord Fáilte, under my general policy direction, will continue to pursue these activities and any other measures which they consider will make an effective contribution to the expansion of the tourist industry.
