asked the Minister for Finance what is the present position regarding the proposed coast erosion schemes at Moville and Fahan-Buncrana, County Donegal.

It was decided last year to defer consideration of proposals under the Coast Protection Act, 1963, because of the financial situation. These two proposals will be considered as soon as circumstances permit.

Deputy Sweetman is not here.

Was he not told that at the Árd Fheis?

In view of the fact that representations have been made to all political Parties by people interested in this scheme about which Deputy Liam Mac Cuinneagáin—and for the information of the non-speaking Irish in Donegal, that is Deputy Liam Cunningham, who takes second place in the ballot papers——

That does not arise Has the Deputy a question to ask?

I am asking if in view of the pressure being brought to bear on Deputy Cunningham and Deputy Harte, the Parliamentary Secretary will see that this work is carried out with the least possible delay and certainly that a statement will be made on the matter before 28th June?

I am not expected to reply to that.
