asked the Minister for Local Government the estimated number of families needing to be housed by Wexford Corporation during each of the past five years.

I am informed by Wexford Corporation that the estimated number of families needing to be housed by Wexford Corporation during each of the years 1962, 1963, 1964, 1965 and 1966 was 500, 485, 450, 425 and 400 respectively.

asked the Minister for Local Government the number of men employed by Wexford Corporation in house-building during each of the past five years.

The average number of men employed on house-building by Wexford Corporation during the calendar years 1962, 1963, 1964, 1965 and 1966 was 49, 55, 71, 73 and 73 respectively.

asked the Minister for Local Government the number of houses demolished by Wexford Corporation in each of the past five calendar years.

As the reply is in the form of a tabular statement, I propose with your permission, a Cheann Comhairle, to have it circulated with the Official Report.

(2) A small number of other houses were demolished by the Corporation in clearing sites for their own housing schemes etc., but particulars of these houses are not readily available.

asked the Minister for Local Government the number of cottages built by Wexford County Council during each of the past five years.
