asked the Minister for Social Welfare who is the present secretary of the County Clare old age pensions committee; when he was appointed; what salary or other emoluments are paid to the holder of such office; and whether the appointment was temporary or permanent.

The present Clerk of the County Clare Old Age Pension Committee is Miss Bríd Donnellan, New Park, Kilkishen, County Clare, who was appointed to the post by the committee with effect from 1st May, 1967. The salary for the post is £634 4s a year and the appointment is temporary.
