Mrs. Mary Lalor has been selected as the new sub-postmistress of Cullohill. There were two candidates for the post. Both of them were interviewed by the local postmaster and the applications were reviewed in the usual way by the Sub-Postmasters Selection Board. It is not the practice to disclose the nature of recommendations made about applicants for subpostmasterships or the qualifications of individual candidates.
