With your permission, Sir, I propose to circulate in the Official Report a statement giving the figures of the total numbers of driver-accompanied and cars carried into the State by sea and air for the years 1964-1966 and for the nine months January-September, 1967. These relate mainly to cars brought in by visitors to the country, but they also include cars belonging to Irish residents returning from visits outside the State, for which separate figures are not available.
