Vol. 230 No. 9

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Rehousing Proposals.

9.

asked the Minister for Local Government when it is proposed to commence the rehousing of those who live at present in accommodation classified as unfit for human habitation.

The rehousing of families from unfit dwellings has been proceeding since the inception of the housing operations of local authorities, who are required, by the statutory regulations presently in force, to give a high order of priority to such families in the letting of their dwellings.
