Vol. 231 No. 6

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Glasnevin (Dublin) Flooding.

16.

asked the Minister for Local Government if he will now sanction the proposals which Dublin Corporation have submitted to his Department in order to remedy the serious and objectionable flooding at Botanic Road, Glasnevin, Dublin, and so ensure that the necessary work will be carried out as an extension of the Glasnevin Bridge and approaches improvement scheme at present in progress.

A proposal of the Dublin Corporation for the improvement of drainage at Botanic Road to be carried out in conjunction with the scheme for replacement of Glasnevin Bridge was received in my Department on 21st November, 1967, and is at present under examination. There will be no avoidable delay in conveying a decision on the proposal to the corporation.
