Vol. 231 No. 6

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Vesting of Farm.

19.

asked the Minister for Lands the reason for the undue delay in vesting a Land Commission farm in the owner (name and address supplied); and when a final decision is likely to be reached.

Generally the Land Commission like to have all authorised improvements completed before vesting a holding. In this instance difficulties have been encountered in the provision of a satisfactory water supply. While a well has been bored and a pump provided, some iron deposit showed in the water. Means to remedy this are at present under consideration and, when concluded, vesting will be effected.
