Vol. 231 No. 8

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Centenary Stamp.

8.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs why a stamp was not issued to mark the centenary of the birth of Eoin Mac Neill in October of the present year.

It is not feasible to issue more than a small number of special stamps each year. A selection must therefore be made of subjects for the stamps from numerous suggestions received. The centenary in question was not among the subjects selected for the current year.
