Vol. 231 No. 9

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Replacement of Richmond Hospital.

65.

asked the Minister for Health how soon the Richmond Hospital, Dublin, will be provided with the money necessary to build a new modern hospital to replace the existing old and unsatisfactory buildings.

The question of providing funds to meet the cost of replacement building in the case of St. Laurence's Hospital will not arise until the necessary planning and setting of contracts is completed. I would hope that, when that point is reached, I will be in a position to allocate grants to cover the cost of the project as the work proceeds.
