Vol. 231 No. 13

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Cattle Insemination.

12.

asked the Minister for Agriculture and Fisheries if his Department have made any investigation as to whether the British policy of insemination has produced cows that are more susceptible to disease than a normal tough dairy cow.

There is no evidence from Britain or any other country that cows produced by artificial insemination are more susceptible to disease that those produced by natural service.
