Vol. 232 No. 2

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Cork Traffic Survey.

64.

Mr. Barrett

asked the Minister for Local Government if he is aware that a traffic consultant engineer employed to carry out a traffic survey in Cork city informed a bridge inquiry held in Cork on 23rd March, 1965 that his report would be prepared 18 months later; and that the report has not yet been fully prepared; and if he will give the reasons for the delay in the preparation of this report.

The traffic consultant referred to is employed by Cork Corporation and the question of the time within which he presents his report to the corporation is one for them. As the Deputy is aware, the consultant was in a position to furnish evidence at the resumed inquiry regarding Parnell bridge this week.

Question No. 65 postponed.
