In the case of loans from the Local Loans Fund the rate of interest is that prevailing at the date of issue and in the case of Bank loans the rate var ies in accordance with variations from time to time in Bank rates. The rate of interest in the case of two commercial loans amounting to £120,000 in 1957 for Dublin Harbour was 5½%.
