Vol. 232 No. 9

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Kilmacanogue (Wicklow) Speed Limit.

28.

asked the Minister for Local Government if his Department have made a decision as yet regarding the imposition of a speed limit for Kilmacanogue, County Wicklow, following representations made since June 1966; and if he will give the reason for the delay.

An inspection of public roads in County Wicklow was recently carried out as part of the current speed limits review. Preparation of amending speed limits regulations for the county is at present in progress in consultation with the county council and the Garda Síochána. The question of applying a speed limit at Kilmacanogue will be fully considered before these regulations are made.
