Vol. 233 No. 1

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Kerry Social Welfare Office.

31.

asked the Minister for Social Welfare if he will establish an office in the Bonane post office, Killarney, County Kerry, to facilitate applicants for unemployment benefit and unemployment assistance who at present have to travel 14 miles to Kenmare to sign on for benefit.

I am having the adequacy of the existing signing-arrangements for recipients of unemployment benefit and unemployment assistance in the area referred to in the question examined and I shall let the Deputy know my decision on the matter in due course.

Question No. 32 postponed.
