Vol. 233 No. 9

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Kerry Bridge.

18.

asked the Minister for Local Government if he is aware that the bridge on the road at Ballinagan, Lixnaw, County Kerry is in danger of collapsing; and that heavy traffic moving to and from that district must make a detour; and, if so, if he will now consider making a special grant available to Kerry County Council to erect a new bridge.

The formulation of proposals for the replacement of the bridge referred to would be a matter for Kerry County Council, who are the responsible road authority. My Department has received no proposals from the council in the matter.
