Vol. 233 No. 11

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - West Cork Bridge.

60.

asked the Minister for Lands if he is aware that the bridge at Shanacouma, Filane East, Castletownbere, County Cork, which is the property of the Land Commission, is in a state of extreme unsafety and is regarded as being of very poor construction; what steps the Department will take to rectify this situation; and when these steps will be taken.

From inquiries made it has not been possible to establish that the bridge in question is the property of the Land Commission. I am asking the Land Commission, however, to arrange for an on the spot inspection—and to communicate with the Deputy in due course when the matter has been clarified.
