asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs the number of applicants from Dublin on the waiting list for new telephones; and the number of new phones installed in Dublin in each of the last three years.

The number of applications on hands is 2,638.

The number of new telephones installed in Dublin in each of the last three financial years was: 1965-66, 4,891; 1966-67, 5,867; 1967-68, 7,155.
