(South Tipperary) asked the Minister for Local Government if he will give the latest figures showing (a) the population and (b) the number of local government electors under each county council, county borough council and Dún Laoghaire Borough Council.

I would refer the Deputy to Volume I of the Census of Population, 1966, for the population statistics requested. The statistics of local government electors are contained in a tabular statement which I propose, with your permission, a Cheann Comhairle, to have circulated with the Official Report.
