The only loan proposal from Louth County Council at present before my Department is an application for sanction to borrowing for the purpose of purchasing road machinery. In addition a proposal for the acceptance of a tender for the erection of four cottages in the Cooley area is under consideration. I expect to be in a position to convey a decision on both these proposals shortly.
