(Cavan) asked the Minister for Finance if he will explain the cause of the delay in providing water and sewerage facilities in the Garda station, Finea, County Cavan; and if he will take steps to have these essential conveniences provided immediately.

The question of installing water and sewerage facilities at this station is related to the review which the Minister for Justice is having made of the distribution of the Garda force throughout the country.
Pending the outcome of this review, the Commissioners of Public Works are not in a position to enter into any commitment in regard to works at Finea station.
