Vol. 236 No. 11

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Death of Infant.

87.

asked the Minister for Health if he has yet completed his investigation into the recent charges that the death of a baby (name supplied) resulted from the failure to provide a hospital bed in Dublin.

I understand that the Dublin Health Authority have investigated the circumstances in this case and that a report is being presented to the Authority for consideration at their next meeting. I am asking the Authority to let me have the report as soon as they have considered it.

When can the House be informed of this?

As soon as possible. In fact, I ask the Deputy to pursue this matter by putting down a question again because I am very concerned about a number of the implications.
