asked the Taoiseach if he will state the population, according to the census of 1966, of each rural district and county electoral area in each county and province.
I would refer the Deputy to Volume I of the reports of the Census of Population of Ireland, 1966, in Table 9 of which are set out statistics of the population of each Rural District and of each County Borough, Municipal Borough and Urban District. Statistics of population of each County Electoral Area are contained in Table 15 of the same Volume.
