Vol. 237 No. 6

Ceisteanna — Questions. Oral Answers. - Hospital Nursing Staff.

90.

asked the Minister for Health if he will state in respect of each of the health authorities of Dublin, Cork, Limerick and Waterford the total number of nurses and nursing sisters (a) required to staff hospitals and (b) actually employed; and the number of (i) part-time nurses, (ii) State enrolled nurses and (iii) nursing attendants employed.

Up-to-date particulars in regard to the nursing staffs are being obtained from the four Health Authorities mentioned. If the Deputy will repeat his question in a fortnight I hope to be able to furnish the required information.
