A special stamp will be issued on 21st January next to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of the first meeting of Dáil Éireann. The programme for other special issues in 1969 is at present under consideration, and an announcement will be made immediately a decision has been taken.
The remaining stamps in the new definitive series will also be issued in 1969.
