I presume the Deputy refers to the pharmacy services provided by health authorities for persons eligible for general medical services.
I do not consider it desirable, or indeed feasible, to reorganise the pharmacy services in the interim period pending implementation of the proposed changes in the health services.
Would the Minister give some indication as to when it is intended to introduce those, so that the pharmaceutical services can be tolerated by the people who are affected by them?
There is a question later about this from the Deputy and it is on the basis of discussions taking place with the people concerned being at an advanced stage. We will come to it.
