Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Dublin Condemned Dwellings.

36.

asked the Minister for Local Government the number of condemned dwellings in Dublin city as at 31st October, 1968; and the number of families occupying these dwellings.

I am informed by Dublin Corporation that the information requested is available only for occupied dwellings. At the 31st October, 1968, 42 families were in occupation of 24 dwellings for which requisitions to vacate had been served by the corporation under section 3 of the Local Government (Sanitary Services) Act, 1964, and a further 102 families were in occupation of dwellings which are to be demolished pursuant to operations of the corporation under the Housing Act, 1966 or the Local Government (Planning and Development) Act, 1963.
