Vol. 237 No. 12

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Sale of Fermoy Military Barracks.

68.

asked the Minister for Defence if he has received any proposals for the sale of the property known as the new military barracks, Fermoy, to be used for building sites.

An application was received in my Department in December, 1967, from Fermoy Urban District Council for the sale to the Council of the State's interest in certain portions of the property comprising about five statute acres to enable the Council to build houses thereon.

Agreement was recently reached with the Council as to the terms of sale and the matter will be concluded as quickly as possible.
