I assume that the Deputy's Question relates to the installation referred to in his Question of 26th November last. Since that date discussions have taken place with the local authority which has now agreed to grant a wayleave for the line subject to certain conditions which it is believed can be met by the Department. It is hoped to clear up the position finally in the next week or two and if no unforeseen difficulty arises service will be offered to the applicant and the erection of the line which involves extensive construction work, will be begun shortly afterwards.
