The Official Import List, on which import statistics are based, does not contain a separate heading for feeding barley. It is understood, however, that almost all imports of barley (other than seed) consist of feeding barley. With your permission, A Cheann Comhairle, I propose to circulate in the Official Report a statement showing by country of origin the quantity, value and price per ton (c.i.f.) of such imports in each of the years 1964 to 1968.
