Vol. 239 No. 2

Ceisteanna — Questions. Oral Answers. - Speed Limit Signs.

18.

asked the Minister for Local Government who is responsible for the siting of speed limit signs adjacent to towns and villages.

The siting of signs to indicate the existence of speed limits is determined by the relevant speed limits regulations made by me after consultation between my Department, the road authority and the Garda Síochána, and after consideration of any representations made to me.
