As I mentioned in reply to other Dáil questions recently I have been engaged in a review of the distribution of the Force throughout the existing 740 stations with a view to making better use of the available gardaí where they are most needed. In that connection the Commissioner has recommended that the strength of this station can be reduced from three to one without loss of efficiency.
