As I have stated on previous occasions the establishment of a smelter is a matter for private enterprise. I understand that the feasibility study, undertaken by a group of companies engaged in the mining of ore in this country, is now being examined by a smelter company—a subsidiary of the group — which was incorporated here recently. It would be premature for me to make any statement at this stage with regard to the actual establishment of a smelter.
