asked the Minister for Local Government whether he will hold discussions with the Dublin city manager with a view to producing an agreed statement on the effects on pollution in Dublin Bay of the proposed new sewage works in Dublin.

As I indicated in reply to previous questions, my Department are in continuous consultation with the sanitary authorities, including the city and county manager in the Dublin area, regarding the works necessary to remedy any existing pollution problems in Dublin Bay.
