Vol. 241 No. 11

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Industrial Profit Sharing.

66.

asked the Minister for Finance if he will in his next Budget introduce tax incentives to encourage profit sharing with workers in industry; and what he has under consideration in this regard.

The Deputy will appreciate that it is not customary to indicate in advance whether or not particular proposals will be included in the Budget.

Is the Minister giving consideration to such a proposal? Is he considering it in advance of the Budget?

The question refers to tax incentives to encourage profit sharing.

May I inquire from the Minister if it is likely that we will have a supplementary Budget before next Christmas?

That is a separate question.

Could we have a separate answer?

Is it likely that the Minister will have anything to give anyone in the next Budget?

My Parliamentary Secretary dealt very adequately with all those matters last week.

I do not think so.

Will there be a Christmas Budget?

Question No. 67.
