Last June my predecessor appointed Mr. Con Murphy to carry out a survey of the needs of the community in the matter of adult education and to indicate the type of permanent organisation to be set up in order to serve these needs. Mr. Murphy is being assisted by a representative advisory committee.
I have no doubt but that in making his recommendations to me Mr. Murphy will bear matters such as those referred to by the Deputy in mind.
