No. recognition has been accorded to it and it has no standing whatsoever as far as recognition as a teacher in a primary or post-primary school is concerned.
Is the Minister aware that in the prospectus for this college it is stated that they are recognised throughout Europe, which would lead one to think that they are also recognised in this country? The fees are rather high for these courses, and would the Minister consider warning pupils who would be thinking of entering this school that it is not a recognised school nor is it even adequate to get a part-time job?
As I have told the Deputy, no recognition is being accorded by me and this should be warning enough.
