115.

andMr. L. Burke asked the Minister for Defence if the fact that his Department have advertised for sale 83 acres of land at Fort Davis, Whitegate, County Cork, has been brought to the notice of the Government agencies concerned with industry, particularly in view of its suitability as an industrial site with access to deep water at White Bay and the inner harbour.

Tenders for the purchase of the area were invited by means of press advertisement in the Dublin morning papers and the Cork Examiner on 31st October, 1969. It is open to any person wishing to use the site for industrial purposes to submit an offer for the property.
